Metro Loss Prevention and Security Services(MLPSS) is linked to a group of Jamaican owned and operated security firms established in the United States since 1991.

The US based sister comapanies include:

• Alliance Security (Massachusetts)
• Metro Guard (Connecticut, New York and New Jersey)
• Sting Security Services (Washington, DC and Marryland)
• Metro Security (Georgia and Florida)

MLPSS was incorporated in Jamaica in December 1999.  Actual operations however, began in December 2001. The two (2) years between incorporation and operations was spent on market research within the Jamaican perspective.

Metro being a US based Jamaican owned security company is also a standing member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).

Over the past 14 years, the name Metro Security is synonymous with the delivery of excellent and professional service to all its clients. Metro Loss Prevention and Security Services’ objective is to continue this tradition and to enhance the image of the security profession in the Jamaican market place, with a name that is readily identifiable with the excellent service that the company provides.
